SQL PASS Fargo

(and the surrounding area!)

SQL PASS Fargo is a group of area SQL professionals that want to exchange knowledge, tools, scripts, tips, and performance enhancements for Microsoft SQL Server.  We are open to all levels of database knowledge - from the uninitiated to the advanced database administrator.

Please check the schedule below for our announcements on our monthly meetings.

Meetings occur on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Fargo Public Library in the Fercho room.  From 7pm to 8pm, there will be a formal topic or presentation, but feel free to come early or stay late and chat with the other participants.

We have a special treat for the January meeting! The amazing Paul Randal will be giving us a remote talk on Perf Tuning with Wait Stats. Yes, *the* Paul Randal!

About Paul:
Paul’s an author, consultant, and top-rated speaker having spoken at PASS, TechEd, SQLintersection, and numerous other events around the world. He spent 9 years working on the SQL Server team, writing DBCC CHECKDB, and ultimately responsible for the entire Storage Engine. In 2007 Paul left Microsoft to co-own and run SQLskills.com, and has been a SQL Server MVP ever since. When he's not tweeting, blogging, or helping someone recover from a disaster, he's likely to be underwater somewhere in the world with his wife, Kimberly L. Tripp. Full bio at http://www.sqlskills.com/about/paul-s-randal/
